Instagram bio and Stories
Put the link in your bio, or add it to a Story with the link sticker, so followers can message you without searching for your number.
Make a wa.me link that opens a WhatsApp chat with your number, with your message already typed. Copy it, test it, or download it as a QR code.
A WhatsApp link, also called a wa.me or click-to-chat link, opens a chat with your number on the phone or computer of whoever taps it. They don’t need to save your number first. The generator builds it in the format WhatsApp documents:
https://wa.me/919876543210?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20to%20know%20more
?text= is URL-encoded, so a space becomes %20. The generator does this for you, including emoji and Hindi, Tamil or any other script.Put the link in your bio, or add it to a Story with the link sticker, so followers can message you without searching for your number.
Add it as your appointment link, so people who find you on Google Search or Maps can message you in one tap.
Use it behind a “Chat on WhatsApp” button on your contact page, price list or product pages.
Customers who would rather message than reply to an email can reach you straight away.
Send people to a chat instead of a form. Use a different message for each campaign so you can see which one brought the chat.
Turn the same link into a code for visiting cards, flyers and counters with the WhatsApp QR code generator.
A good pre-filled message does two jobs. It gets the customer past the blank chat box, and it tells you straight away what they want. Write it in their words, name the thing they came for, and keep it to one or two sentences.
“Hi, I’m interested in the 2BHK at Green Meadows. Please share the price and site-visit timings.”
“Hi, I’d like to book an appointment. What times are free this week?”
“Hi, I’d like admission details for Grade 3 for the next academic year.”
“Hi, I’d like to book a haircut this Saturday. What slots are open?”
“Hi, please share the batch timings and fees for the JEE course.”
“Hi, is this available in size M? I saw it on your Instagram.”
Use a slightly different message for each place: “I saw your Instagram post” in your bio, “I found you on Google” on your business profile, and so on. When the chat arrives, the first line tells you which one worked.
Yes. It is free with no sign-up, and the links and QR codes are yours to use on anything, including printed and paid material. The link is made in your browser; your number and message are not sent to Serviti.
No. The link opens a chat with any number that is registered on WhatsApp: a personal account, the WhatsApp Business app or the WhatsApp Business Platform.
No. A wa.me link has your number in it, so it keeps working for as long as that number is on WhatsApp. There is no Serviti redirect in between that could stop working.
Not in a link you have already shared: the message is part of the link itself. Make a new link with the new message. If you are printing a QR code, keep the message general so it stays right for longer.
Either the number is not registered on WhatsApp, or the format is wrong. The number must include the country code, and the generator removes the +, spaces and any leading 0 for you. Test the link on your own phone before you share it.
wa.me links do not report clicks. A simple workaround is a different pre-filled message for each place you share the link, so the first message in each chat tells you where it came from.
Both open the same chat. wa.me is the short format that WhatsApp’s help centre documents, so it is the one this tool makes.
